These were awesome when I first used them. They lasted about 2 weeks, then the remote wouldn’t turn them off or on. I switched remotes and some just randomly flashes and wouldn’t shut off unless I removed the battery. Super cool when they worked, but they didn’t work long enough to make it worthwhile. Frustrating. I've had two fairly serious foot injuries in the last 18 months, die to the fact that I NEVER wear shoes. These feel like slippers, they let my foot move freely so it doesn't aggravate the injuries. I'm on my feet for work and sometimes warehouse type work so closed toe shoes are necessary. I hate closed toed shoes, but these are the best I've found. I had purchased this item to calibrate the CBN cutters on my surface and when I got the tool out to us it, it would not turn on, so I followed the instructions to replace the battery and when I did the little silver piece that makes contact with the battery fell out of the Digital Indicator.
