The picture made it seem like it’d be bigger than it actually is, and I was rather disappointed with how small it is. The smell is nice but it has a bit of a chemical smell to it. Some of the paint is starting to flake off and I’ve had it for a day or so. The squish of it is nice but overall I don’t think I’d buy this again or recommend it to anyone else. These did the trick! They look nice, were really affordable and took me about 15 minutes to clip them together and secure them in place. I knocked off a star because the bottom half comes in a nice matte black finish, but the pyramid on top came in a high gloss black. They looked really weird so I just bought a can of matte black car spray paint and hit all the pyramids with that before clipping the pieces together. I use this thing every single day, i love it, holds everything i put on it and has never fell down, only reason for docking a star is because you cant dock a half a star and the foam mats were cut by what seems like 4th grade art class and were already looking banged up out of the box. While this has a very clever design, it was not very reliable. It stopped working after a few uses. Tried changing batteries, etc. but it would just go for a few seconds and then stop.Also, the "tail" inside spins too quickly and for too long. It would be much better if it spun much slower, for randomly shorter periods, with random pauses before resuming. My cats like to stalk and are more likely to attack when the prey stops moving.
