I had one of these explode in my face and all over my conference room during a work meeting recently. Apparently, I was stressed out, but I didn’t think it was that bad! Then my husband accidentally hit one with the vacuum, and the same thing happened. Well I'm kind of bummed. I try to avoid cheaply made jewelry because my skin is so sensitive. I bought these earrings thinking they would be higher quality. I put them on on Saturday late afternoon and wore them through Sunday night. When I tried to take them off Monday morning the stud broke off of the earring and rolled onto to floor somewhere. Got this for a gift for my wife. It looks like the pictures (this warning 3 stars) but it’s actually made of balsa or basswood — like what they make model airplanes out of. Through trial and error i FOUND that these elastic belts are not reliable for daily use .The elastic material stretches too easily, making it difficult to keep the belts tight and in place.
