Even with the corset undone as much as it would in the back, it was still too tight. I'd suggest going up a few sizes from your actual size. Other than that, it's definitely worth your money! The shelves are a decent size and can hold multiple pairs of pants or whatever you're storing. We put ours in an armoire that had a lot of hanging space but no shelving - it gave me just enough space for the essentials that I needed, without taking up too much of the hanging space. It also left plenty of room underneath so that I could still put things beneath it.
