Our dogs back legs are really bad. She has a hard time getting up from a sitting position. This really helps out a lot, however if it could stay attached to her it would be even better. When I pulled these shorts out of Best Buy's normal plastic mailer, I found these were packaged in a plastic bag with a ziploc like closure and immediately noticed an unpleasant odor. The bag itself smelled terribke and unfortunately, that scent permeated into the shorts. Good news is, the scent dissipated after a wash cycle that would have happened regardless.That said, I love the shorts. You would think for $600 they would at least include a $10 12 volt power supply, it would have been nicer if they included one of their POE injectors, but no, for $600 all you get is the unit and some connectors to mount on a drop ceiling. These were well worth it! Best deal for the money. We used them for our wedding and they definitely helped create our fairytale event. We also purchased the dimmer that was recommended in the product remarks. Yes, you have to screw in each of the light bulbs, securely for them to illuminate but they all worked. It was nice to be able to not put all bulbs in when we had excess and were able to roll up the strand.
