I had a similar fan, which after two years stopped working, so I was looking for something to replace it. This little fan seems to have all the features, plus a few more. It's compact so fits easily in luggage (if and when I get to travel again after the pandemic). It plugs into a USB plug, so easy to charge. The cover pops off so it can be cleaned, which was an issue with my last fan (full of dust and couldn't clean). It has 4 speeds. My last fan had only 1. The color is beautiful and I get a lot of complements on it. The fabric is soft but had the worst smell right out of the package. Thankfully it goes away after one wash. It’s super warm and I really love that living in a cold climate location. My biggest complaint is that there is zero that is flattering about it, it’s big, bulky and definitely frumpy. First: the good stuff. Packaging was minimal which is nice. Coating is consistent matte black and the base has a plastic coating that will minimize marking and keep the threaded hook in place (I was worried this should have a thread-locker, but the coating seems to do a nice job securing the hook to the base.This was advertised as "super strong - Neodymium magnets. The cushion is made of very sturdy but pliable plastic. It comes with an air pump and two needles. I had a minor problem with inflating it—I had to push the needle really hard into the valve before it would inflate. When I did that, it felt as though the needle had to puncture a membrane inside the valve. Then everything worked fine. I purchased there a couple years ago for walking around the pool. The ground gets very hot and I needed anti slip slip on slip off easy water/shower slippers. With-in a week, the brand name stickers on top were gone. So either they were not waterproof or just cheap like cheap brand Band-Aids. The width is great since I have Fred Flintstone feet.
