Yes, they ARE cotton, and because of that they WILL wrinkle. Fold them immediately or place them straight from dryer onto bed.don’t leave them in the dryer to wrinkle. I love these! I ordered 2 boxes. I split them up to give as additions to Christmas gifts. They are metal, not plastic, much nicer that way. There is a felt hanger loop at the top of each one which is nice. You do not need to undo loop to put picture in. Love how cheap it was for as many as I got. Normally going to the store to get it I only get 3-5 for over 16 dollars so really loved that. Love how shiny it looks on my skin tone most of the ones I have now doesn't stand out so much like this does on my face. Comfort I will say was my only down fall only due to the fact that it kinda digs in your lip and since its not metal to where its more rounded or should I say dull or not so thin like these are they tend to dig in your lip a little.
