Does exactly what it says it does. It's a magnetic algae scraper. It's tough but didnt scratch my glass. I had hair algae growing in one wall of the tank, a thick layer of it too. Busted right through it. I will say to use caution near the edges of the tank. Its heavy and the magnets are strong. It didnt happen, but I could easily see it happening. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this unit. After I calibrated it (be sure to hit Recall before running Calibration) I found the touch screen interface to work better than the NanoVNA's I have owned in the past.The N connectors are a plus for durability.
