I looked through all the reviews and finally found some that said it smelled of perfume. I am very allergic to perfume, and when I took it out this winter, it almost made me sick. Bit big for my tiny dog (8# Chihuahua). Love that it's washable because he walks on front feet to pee and gets it all over the jacket. This is very well made, very sturdy. The latch is very strong. I do not see the latch breaking ever. Not escaping this one. The handles are such a great add on. I have a dog the will walk backwards to pull out of her collar. With this shorter leash and handles on collar and the leash, shes not getting lose from me. She loves to run, I'm no runner.
