We put these up according to the directions and only connected two strings. The plug was kept indoors as directed but I noticed when I took them down many spots are browned, almost as if the wires had burned some. I will not put them up again next year, so they were a single use purchase unfortunately. Not worth the money, and makes me nervous about their safety. I will say they were pretty to look at though. These foglights are great for the price. But you get what you pay for, by that you have to splice some wires to get this kit to work.1. Splice the power cable to connect onto the battery.2. The wiring harness(Ground, Foglight switch, ignition power) to run through the firewall is too short and bulky. You will have to splice this onto a extension that way you will be able to run through the firewall.3. Just perfect for what I need it. Fits just fine for me but I cant assure for other people; you know shapes and sizes. This jacket is as warm as the description, the fabric is for an all around use, the zippers and buttons are great, nothing tacky or ugly.I recommend it, I give it 4 stars because I haven't used it in a cold day (You know Mexico and its warm humid days on summer). Sharp big boy suitcoat that fits my 5'0", 110 lb son who normally wears 12-14 nicely, maybe a little long in the arms, but I wanted it big so he could wear it for more than 3 months :-) It has nice stripe details in the sleeves for cuffing and seems fairly well put together. Great dryer - two minor issues.1.) No vent holes for the moisture to escape - you'll need to prop the lid open a bit to let the hot moist air escape.2.)Only one exit, which is on top. This will be so perfect for my upcoming adventure in the mountains. It takes up almost no room in my suitcase and it's very stylish too! It's a little tight in my big hips (bought the 2x; wear size 18 pants) but fits comfortably everywhere else including my upper body/ bust/ arms.I am one to nitpick just a bit though, the pockets do not actually snap shut, as you might imagine by looking at them.
