I needed to repair a tear to a plastic sheeting barrier until we had a chance to replace it.This tape is extremely sticky.it adhered very well. In addition to being stickier than tape, it is stronger as well. The repair we made was stronger than the original material.That is the only chance I have had to use this so far, but it worked really well. Takes a massive and clunky DVI setup and reduced it in my case to a couple ultra slim hdmi cables. Works great at 1920x1080. I have a setup that involves two monitors that connect through an hdmi switch to two computers and each computer has a mini display port that has an adapter to convert to hdmi. No compatibility issues. I can confirm it works with Gigabyte Brix bxi5-4570r, a second brik of a different model number, raspberry pi 3, Surface pro 3, and a second gen chromecast.
