Cutting vinyl tiles is tough because the pointy utility knife blades want to slide. These blades dig in so you can get a hold on the material and slice right through. Sharp as all get-out, too. This badge holder is as sturdy and strong as described. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 is because it is very heavy and the clip is too wide to attach to most lanyards so you can wear it around your neck. This does what I need.Removed two crimp rings, and it didn't cut them well at all. I installed this remote on a fairly new, (less than 2 years old), Hunter brand ceiling fan in my baby nursery. Every time the light switch is turned on, the receiver unit beeps very loudly. My 2-year-old would mock it, saying "BEEEEEPPP!" every time he heard it.
