Yes- this was hard to install. I expected that. At the end of the arduous and nearly impossible installation process, I found that it actually INCREASED the amount of glare. So I took it off and threw it out. If you are getting this to reduce glare, save yourself the trouble. I put this on a 26" mountain bike from Walmart. The installation was ok up until I had to fit the hub motor on the bike frame. It was just too wide so I had to stretch the frame a bit which allowed the wheel to go on but it makes the tire sit at a slight angle. Besides that it works perfectly.
