The bag holds my tree just fine but without putting in some cardboard around the sides and bottom from the trees original box, the bag was unwieldy and hard to move. Once we put in the cardboard, it was easier to maneuver and better to store. As for durability, I marked it down because of the "window” in the top. I've had this bag in my cart for quite a while and finally decided to go for it. I had purchased the larger bag some time ago and have been really happy with it but it's too big for some things. The smaller bag has numerous deep compartments and is easy to carry as the bag itself is very light but sturdy. The warmth and softness of the socks are acceptable. My problem with them is that the tops of the socks slide down to my ankles. I wear slip on boots, without laces. These have been a lifesaver as I was unexpectedly left with my dad’s unfinished project car (a 1961 Cadillac hearse that he rebuilt).
