According to my experience, this mat is far from what it claims to be; it doesnt provide any relief to my feet and actually makes standing in the kitchen much more uncomfortable. I absolutely love the feel of this robe. The fabric is so soft it is like being wrapped in a cloud. I like the hood as at times I feel a draft on my neck in the winter and if don't get my neck covered it gets stiff and very sore. So it is nice that I can cover my head if needed.I do have a couple of problems however. I am long waisted and this robe has the belt coming out at about an empire style. Orders 10-12(L) received a (M). It fit way better as a large would of been too big. My mistake. The waist inner seam around the waist had several broken areas and the vertical seam from waist to seam was also multiple open seams. Not to mention a bunched area in the back so no reason. Also, be aware, that if you spray it with a wrinkle release product, like I did, the dye will fade and cause bleach-like spots.
