First off I will say I was "one of those" who debated purchasing this projector. Do not let the 1000 lumens scare you away. My old projector is a epson with 3200 lumens and this is actually just as bright if not brighter. Picture quality is exceptional, sound is amazing, it definitely packs a punch for it's small size. My only con is I seem to have a dead pixel on the red lcd panel out of the box.
