They feel solid with the exception of the thinner curved wood in the back center. I am worried after time these pieces may give and break, but for the price we are happy! This laptop sleeve does its job. It feels fairly durable. It will fit just about any 15.6" laptop. The zipper works well. I haven't really tested whether or not it's really water proof. Fits well in the back but maybe I should have gone with an XL instead of L for my Highlander Limited. Its actually a little cushy which is good for my dog but if you have stuff in the back it might slide around on it because of the material.
