The wood is very solid and the stool is sturdy for a 200lb. grown-up. Putting it together was not extremely difficult, but it could have been easier. Nevertheless I got it put together and it works like a charm. I bought this stool to help me get into my bed which sits high off the floor. Don't waste your money on this. I thought most the reviews might just be bad installation. No control of timers. Constantly turns on and off when no motion. Even covered the sensor completely and still triggers on and off the same. Hard to find a decent looking upright wall lantern with motion detection for this price but now I see why this is cheaper. Bought two of these for a cnc project to use as a homing limit switch which it didn't work. It is NPN because the signal line does connect to the negative wire and it is NO because it switches when metal approaches it but the voltage doesn't drop to 0.it just stays at 5v which is the voltage I have running it. One of the best things about this mattress is it folds up and repacks in the same bag it came in. It's very comfortable for me after I fill it up completely the let out a bit of air it's not to firm. The length is goodd and I'm 6'2" bit the width not so much. I roll a lot while sleeping and there is no extra room for that at all. It is just barely wide enough for my body.
