I was using a cotton eye mask that kept making me sweat. I bought this one to try because of the optional cool insert. The insert is easy to put in/take out of the mask. It is heavy for my eyes to sleep with, but I will use it for my migraines. I have continued to use the mask without the insert and it has been so much better than my cotton one. I received the carseat on time but when we opened it we noticed right away some white dried up substances on the shoulder padding and the crotch pad. Almost as if a baby had spit up on it and it dried. I requested and bought new but there was no way this was not opened before.The overall carseat seemed nice and comfortable for my almost 1 year old.
