This works well, but I would be a little careful. I am using a case that has a piece of metal in the middle so that it will work with the magnetic wallet it came with as well as magnetic phone holders. This magnetic wallet piece, I ordered so as not to have to use the rather large wallet when I need it to take up less space, does attach to it, but it slides around kind of easily. I have a Manduka Pro extra-long mat. As a result of being a robust mat and extra long, it is thicker than a normal mat when it's rolled up, and it weighs 10 pounds. No instructions. Not sure how to use the piece to tilt the laptop. I think the legs are crooked. I put on desk and the laptop slips off after awhile. The loafers are extremely light when it comes to weight. They are the type which slide on like a sock and are very flexible making them easy to slip on. It has a nice neutral color and should not show spots as easy on fabric. The white soles may require constant cleaning since they are highly visible.
