This is the second time I've purchased this shower curtain. It does need to off-gas a bit once removed from packaging but I love the thicker quality of the item. It does not mildew easily at all. I have shoulder arthritis and I HATE changing shower curtains. My last one is still good. I've wiped off a little mildew, though (after well over a year of use!).
