I wore these patella straps for over 12 hours. I didn't have a single issue with my knees. I could have just bought a pair of black welding cup goggles, a clip-on double lense loupe, and a large hose clamp, plus a couple of small, plastic ship wheels, to make this for about 6 bucks cheaper. I even have a bunch of watch gears that would have looked much better than the ship wheels. Based on my observations, the chain felt cheap and didn't match the same level of quality as the crystal. The two things I associate with Ruffwear products are quality materials and thoughtful design, but both are lacking in this updated leash.The new locking mechanism is cumbersome and not user friendly.
