It didn't work for the one screw I needed to remove, the very smallest. The drill bit didn't cut metal very well at all. I ended up using a regular drill bit and mutilated the screw head till the flange was gone and then I could remove the cover it was holding down. It's a little bit short and the skirt is a little too "dirndl" for my taste - the pleats hit the top of my hip curve and accentuate the part of my body I like least. These are a very high quality storage option. The glass is thick so I’m not worried they will break. The seal is also very tight so I’m not concerned with food going stale. My only complaint is the metal clasp is a bit tough to work, I have to hold the jar with one had and unclasp the clip with the other. This is not optimal when I usually have a child in one hand.
