The first thing I noticed upon opening the package was a frayed flaw in the twine (pictured). I thought maybe it would not be too noticeable once pictures were hung, so I started to assemble the pieces. But it was impossible to screw in the tiny screws that connect the pieces with a screwdriver because the drilled holes in the wood were crooked and too small for the screws. Design and fit were as expected. But the fabric was very thin. Would not wear without a slip or cami and shorts under. And because it's such thin fabric it's already started to stretch out of shape at the neckline after 2 wears and a gentle handwash. The fabric has also started pilling noticbly. This item arrived early and was packaged well in a box surrounded by bubble wrap. Wow, I love this tree! So beautiful with a unique quartz base. I must have been lucky, as you can see in the photo, there is no visible glue and the base is well made. I just received this dress this week and although the picture is very cute its not what i received. I really wanted this dress because of the pleating in the dress. It has little to no pleating. It just lays flat in the seams. Its also snug in the arms and rib cage so if you have a wide back like me & big arms this may be a pass. I kept it because its such a hassle to return.
