I have only used it a couple times but it definitely keeps you warm, have to take off in stores. I haven't had a coat in 5 years, just wore a wind breaker so the bulkiness is taking some getting used to. The arms are a little snug but nothing I can't get used to and I usually don't wear anything with sleeves more than 3/4 and these go all the way down to my hands, so not sure why others said they were short since I am 5'8.
