These things kept me from having my toes go numb, and also saved me from the awfulness of the foot warmers I’d been using!Keeping my feet warm is likely part of why I was able to stay healthy while spending 4 weeks working outside.The comments about what the battery packs look like are accurate by the way. They do look like an ankle monitor. My work around was that I made sure top of socks were just below boot line.At times, if I didn’t make sure to smooth out the sock bottoms, a random wire would feel like it was poking through, and irritated my foot.Everything else was a learning curve.The batteries do take time to recharge, So I recommend if you are using these on a daily basis that when you get home you make sure you plug them in! The 1st charge took close to 4 hours.
