Not what I was expecting from Milton, I own various inflaters and fittings from them and was conditioned to expect the best. Based on our own experience, this latch is far too fragile to be trusted on any vehicle. While the design of the latch itself may seem sturdy it is prone to breaking after only mild use .This makes it not only unreliable, but also dangerous as it could cause the vent to suddenly open while driving. So you can only spruce up weathered wood with stain so long. These panels are easy to install ( I recommend hooks on top and bungees down low) and hide weathered wood.
