I can't think of any downside to this rope so far! I haven't used it long enough to notice any stretching or shedding. However, since I'll be using it primarily outside, shedding won't be an issue, and I won't mind some stretching. The addition of the heavy duty carabiner was a nice touch and makes it easy to hang up. The rope has been useful so far in workouts! I have it hooked up to an old wooden post in our backyard that we weren't using. It will definitely get a lot of use! I have also looped it over an outdoor pullup bar for more difficult pullup variations as well.
