The cylinder itself is great. You have to be sure to get the geometry just right, which I knew going in but was still a bit more fussy than I realized. That’s not the manufacturer’s fault, so much as Math’s fault.However, after just a few months of being in an outdoor cabinet, the mounting brackets have all rusted to heck. They’re protected from rain and moisture, yet they’re visibly degrading.I really like the piece, and I hope this was just a bad batch from a supplier. I can 100% recommend these for things indoors: they’re great and strong. They don’t quite seem to be ready for outdoor cabinets, though.
