Bought it in 2013 and it is a very useful tool. Haven't used it for about a year now and went to pry a something apart and the head won't stay locked. Contacted the manufacturer and they have a special number for revain. I guess these do what they're supposed to do. My little black cat came home with a mouse & no collar. He ate the whole mouse except for the liver & 1 paw, right in front of me on the doorstep, so I bought him another collar. I bought this, needing it to be no wider than 8inches (as it shows in the ad) HOWEVER, the ad didnt mention the extra almost 2 inches added to the width, caused by the brackets. Not mad, just wasnt the actual space it would be taking up.But also, no worry. I pried out 5 slats, inserted the legs inside the ledges, and it fit perfectly!
