I specifically chose this bag because I wanted something that was relatively compact, while still providing decent protection and some modest side compartments. I like the retractable handle, and the fact it comes with a removable shoulder strap, both of which were important. The bottom paddiong is a bit meager, and the square side compartments are a bit hard to access.Pros: - Small and compact, which was one of my primary motivations for choosing this bag - Retractable handle and shoulder strap make it useful in a variety of travel and business settings - Solid look, not cheap or over the top - I personally like the side load, which makes it great for putting into a larger backpack for plane travel - Decent protection, which is the whole point of a computer bagCons: - Bottom padding is too minimal for my liking, I've added some foam, but that is a bit of a kludge - The side compartments are a bit too rigid, making getting things in and out difficult - Again, side compartment square shape makes zipping quite a challenge, this could be improved
