I love these pants, but they do tend to run just a bit small in the waist. I am right at 50 inches in the waist (unless my tape measure is off, which I doubt) and these pants are just a little snug. I got this for my husband who wears an XL in any other brand, this was the equivalent of a women’s small, which would have been fine except he is certainly not a small. Having worn shape wear before, I can definitely say that this was not your average shape wear that sucks you in and shrinks you a size. I have not gotten to use this yet because it is in my garage opened up to air out. It's been 2 days and the chemical smell is still very noticeable and horrendous. I ended up returning mine, because it was perhaps 1/4 inch taller than the space in which I had planned to pack it, in my car. With most soft coolers, I'd just smush it down a bit, but this cooler has a plastic frame that snaps into place when you open it up to use it, and that frame doesn't seem strong enough to have other weight on top of it during a car trip. I have a harness running light but was looking to replace a head band light that I made smaller to fit on my upper arm. The head band light takes 3 AAA batteries, and is a little heavy. I attached this light to an arm band, and it works fairly well, but the beam can't be directed, so it shines straight ahead.
