I chose this because it is the only infant head support for car seats that is crash tested and from a well known company. The head support is great. I take car seat safety very seriously and I’m usually very hesitant with products like this but this one is very thin and is honestly no thicker than any clothing baby would be wearing and no thicker than the thin infant insert that comes with our graco infant seats. The head support itself wraps around similarly to rolled receiving blankets—which car seat manufacturers say is safe. With that being said, the only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is because the strap covers are way too long. It is not possible to use the strap covers while properly buckling a baby into the car seat. The chest clip is supposed to be secured at the chest and straps need to pass the pinch test and that’s just not possible with these strap covers on. I was able to get some strap covers directly from Graco that have been great for that purpose though. Overall, I definitely am glad I bought this product and not one of the many others that are listed (many of which don’t even have babies properly buckled in a real car seat in pictures).
