For the little extra you pay for these over the basic paddles that have the nubs on the face, these provide quite a bit more ball control than the beginner paddles provide and they have enough padding so that you don't crush every return off the table. In fact I feel like the max width of glasses it can fit is only about 5.0'.Overall good quality and decent deal though.
