They put tape on both sides and when you peel the tape on the part that goes on the inside of the house, it peels off the outer layer rendering it useless. Used during my moving and disassemble and assembled all my furniture including a cough that had big screws going into thick wood and worked like a charm. Only charged once and used it for days. I'm really impressed. Recommend for house everyday use, but I'm sure can handle some heavy work. Little noise when impact kicks in but silent most of the time. We bought this to have a wider range of height adjustments. And despite what some reviewers have said regarding quality, ours works great. No leaks, sturdy adjustment settings and made of solid brass. We purchased separately a new shower head which is mostly plastic and therefore very lightweight, so maybe that helps. With this Impact wrench I did the 4-wheel rotation of my 2016 kia and extracted the throw nuts quickly. I also used it to lift the car with the original scissor jack and it did it without any effort. At first when it came out of the box I was less then impressed with this fan. It is very lightweight and I didn't see any switch where you change the speeds. Then I plugged it into the usb hub at my computer, and there is a large square button across the back that you push to turn on, and then push again to change speeds and turn off.
