When I read other reviews I thought the smell would be like a rubber or plastic smell but when I opened it up is was a perfume smell. I was extremely pleased with the cross. Super fast shipping. Just the right size. Easy to hang. (Includes hooks with adhesive backing) And I was extremely happy with the shade of white. I worried it would be bright and obnoxious but it's a soft white with a cozy glow. I bought this for camping specifically. I am definitely impressed with the quality and after using it a few times it does work great and distribute heat just fine. I did read a review that is just slightly too small to go on the Coleman portable stove which I have. That is true and it caused a little bit of a problem because it slid around too much on the top of my portable Coleman which I was able to fix by just hanging over slightly on one side. These needle threaders come in a small, convenient see-through case with an attached lid and there are a lot of them, in different colors. The thin wire on all needle threaders eventually breaks so it's nice to have a good supply of threaders. These were easy to use. Used this while lying on the ground under my camping trailer. The handle spread is to wide for my hands, and probably most other normal sized people. I could not hold the wires in the connector and squeeze the handle at the same time without a whole lot of problems. I finally gave up and used my vise grips as a crimping tool.
