I have a VERY aggressive chewer. Toys that are supposed to last a long time are ruined in minutes. This one has a Nylabone type ring and a soft rubber ring. He pretty much ignores the rubber ring and gnaws on the plastic part. This toy has lasted longer than any other besides the Kong oblong ball. I love the size and style of these, but the threading to screw the bottom pieces in is slightly off, making them look bent. There is nothing I can do to straighten them, and my "window" to exchange them has run out. I wouldn't have purchased them so early had I known how messed up our construction project's schedule would get. They're cheap, but would look great if the threading was aligned.
