They work well, and have the necessary weight to size needed for adequate balancing; zinc and such, are too lite at that same size. Needed some balancing weight for some electrical machines and the space to work with needed the weight of the lead, that other metals could not provide. I installed these a week ago, and initially, the long one did not contact the windshield in the middle of the blade under the attachment point. This resulted in a 4" wide arc of poorly wiped glass. Now, a week later, it is getting better and I have streaks on the out stroke only. Many other reviews have similar complaints. Perhaps it will get better with more time but this is a poor out of the box experience. The gingerbread men plushes have all a squeaker inside and are very soft (like the gingerbread house plush). There is 2 holes to put the gingerbread men inside the house but they are a little big so it is very (too) easy to put them inside or to remove them. I have been using this for one week and it is well made, extremely quiet, and has varied movement. The holes are big enough to prevent paws getting stuck. One of my kittens can get their paws deep inside, but they cannot rip the feather off. Just enough of the feather sticks out to keep them interested.
