So, it is pretty straight forward how they work. I did a little practicing with a set up before actually connecting. The connectors work pretty slick. If you have a thick gauge wire, it can be a little tough slipping the connectors over the wire. Pinching the wire with pliers gives the appropriate purchase point to get the sleeve to easily go over the wire. I bought this as a valet for the equipment I use when I'm sitting at the machine and actively sewing. I have my scissors and measuring tape in the pockets, where they are easily accessible. There is also a removable pocket for waste, which is very handy. Snipped threads go in here and eventually are emptied into a waste basket. I know there are patterns out there to make your own.
