I bought this back in June to replace my previous air pump. Maybe it was a bit quieter then? but 6 months in, it has this incredibly annoying habit of going in and out in loudness no matter how much cushioning i put around it. Nice sturdy cover - the ones from the bank seem to separate after a while, but I write a lot of checks. This one is nice and sturdy with a pocket with a pen if you use it that way, the only drawback I can see is no divider for the pages of the register but maybe if I used it the other way, that would work. When you assemble it, make sure it is sitting level on a flat surface in order to get the bottom in the right position. Extremely well built, my first walk was a mile with my dog and the were exceptionally comfortable. Perfect fit with excellent arch support and I really like that the insole can be removed as I need a custom orthotic on occasions but these are so good I might not even need them. I do have another big name brand that I sloshed through some mud while hike in the woods after a rain and from that I felt I needed an extra pair. It's a decent signal. Bright enough and easy enough to wire (as long as you already know how since these come with no directions). However, the 3M tape on the back of it is not nearly strong enough to adhere immediately and require a decent amount of support in order to stay on originally. They include zip ties in the package, however these aren't long enough to reach around the fork.
