After reading reviews of many microfiber towels, I picked these in pink/white and blue/white stripes. They worked out well for us on our trip to Costa Rica. These had no odor, nor did the colors bleed when washed. The XL size was perfect for use as a beach mat and the hand towel (they enclosed 2 with my pink &white set---thanks!) came in handy when one hotel didn't provide wash cloths.
