I first ordered a Large because the other reviews said it runs small. I tried the large on and immediately boxed it up to return it. I easily got it on the last row. Ordered the medium next because the material is great in these and I love that it has the zipper, as well. I got it on the last row, but it does what it is supposed to do. Sitting down is hard. I recently purchased a pair of black shorts for Australian Rules Football from Sports and Outdoors .Through trial and error, I found that these shorts were the perfect fit for me.
