Purchased this 4 camera system to install at a business that gets the occasional trespasser or vandals. Needed something to keep an eye on place especially at night and some footage for the police if something did happen. System installed fairly easily although I did have to run wire for receptacles to each location to power the cameras. I also made sure to sync each camera with recorder before actually fastening to building. I just plugged in camera in same room as recorder and it will connect. Then mount it to the building and it will reconnect. I did need to buy a monitor which I found on here for around $100. Wi-fi reception is from good to acceptable on the furthest away cameras. I never have any problem bringing up the cameras on the app to remote view. As I said I think it's a fairly easy system to install as long as you have power near where you want the cameras or am able to run wire to that location. The instructions that come with system are basic and if you do have problems installing your best bet is to reach out to customer support. As others have commented their excellent and will help you get things set up. If you do buy the system they will send you a follow up email after the sale to make sure if there are problems and how to get a hold of them. I will be adding a couple more cameras to the system in the near future as it will support 8 total. Seems like an affordable surveillance system with both good day and night vision and am happy with it so far.
